This Site is intended to provide you with the information to assist you with your Bursary Application Process. If you are academically deserving and financially needy, you should utilize this opportunity available to you at Gert Sibande College.
The NSFAS Bursary Leaflet is available on this site for more detailed information on Bursaries. There is an application form for Report 191 (NATED) and for NC(V) Programmes provided on this site. Please make sure you download the correct application form. Submit the form to the Student Support Office at the Campus of your choice with the following ATTACHMENTS:
- CERTIFIED COPY OF YOUR ID
- CERTIFIED ID COPIES OF PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIAN
- AFFIDAVIT BY THE PARENTS (IF NOT WORKING)
- ID NUMBERS OF FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE HOUSEHOLD & THE LEVEL OF THEIR EDUCATION
- PAY SLIP OF PARENTS/LEGAL GUARDIAN (PROOF OF FAMILY INCOME)
- ACADEMIC RECORD
- LETTER FROM TAXI ASSOCIATION/BUS COMPANY FOR TRANSPORT CLAIMS
- AFFIDAVIT BY THE LANDLORD/LEASE AGREEMENT FOR ACCOMMODATION CLAIMS
It is very important to submit the necessary documentation with your application forms. This will help your application to be processed in time.
Very important to NOTE: As Government and the College Invest in your Studies we would like to see Return on Investment Hence it is important to perform well in your Studies
